Have You Got Rats In Your Attic?

Rats in the attic can be as bad as bats in your belfry.  Lying awake at night listening to the scurrying, scratching and general messing about can be infuriating.  It can also be difficult to keep them out as attics can communicate with neighbours. Rats may be entering under eaves via drainpipes in places which are inaccessible to humans and so difficult, if not impossible to block up.

Rats can also spread disease.  Around 35 human afflictions are known to be transmitted through their faeces, urine and saliva. If a rat decides to expire in a hidden corner of your attic the smell can become unbearable as he decomposes.  Again, if he is wedged in an inaccessible place you will wish you had put more effort into repelling the little beasts.

Traps and repellents only go so far; only one rat needs to slip through your preventative net in order to keep you awake all night.  So what can you do?

An astonishing new device from Hammer Technologies is set to change all of this.  It is designed especially to create a defensive perimeter around the edge of your attic, keeps the little scurrying feet at bay.  Their website is also a mine of information on rats, their behaviour and how to get rid of them.
