Hammer Technologies were excited to launch the RatMat with Killgerm at PestTech on the 7th of November 2018. We were proud to be invited to be part of Killgerm’s awesome stand at the exhibition and were overwhelmed by the positive response we received. The footfall at the stand was probably the highest at the show and interest in the RatMat was high. Many people were excited that the product would be able to solve problems which were proving difficult. Damage to combine harvesters and ingress of rodents through factory and commercial unit doors were issues which came up several times. RatMat is an ideal solution to these problems.

It was mentioned several times that it has been decades since a true innovation has come to pest control and that many new products were just rehashes of old products. A significant number of the pest controllers we spoke to were optimistic that the RatMat could revolutionise pest management in several areas, particularly agriculture and food manufacture. Recent legislation is limiting the use of rodenticides which is reducing the options for pest control experts. RatMat gives them another solution which is humane, effective and cost-effective.
