A perimeter of RatMat is exceptionally effective at repelling rodents and is 100% effective in almost all circumstances. In less than 1% of our installations we have seen a rodent cross the tiles, this appears to be more of a risk in desert areas where other sources of food and shelter may not be available. In these situations adding a further ring of tiles is effective at preventing damage. If you need more protection or advice then please contact us. If more protection is required after fitting this package, additional tiles can be added to the system.

10 tiles (30cm x 300cm) + 24 edges + 4 corners + a mains energiser designed to prevent a rodent crossing a threshold into an area you wish to protect. If you know rodents are entering through a certain doorway, it can be protected using a strip of tiles. 10 tiles will cover a doorway up to 3m across. Coverage can be extended with more tiles if further coverage is required. We suggest only using edges on three sides when pushed against a doorway so a rat can't get past by walking along the edge against the wall. Alternatively, standard edging strips can be cut down to make a narrower edge strip. Please take a look through the gallery for examples of installations.

The RatMat Energiser powers up your RatMat tiles to give you the protection you need against rodents. You will need one of these per installation. Simply switch it on and it provides a safe, repellent pulse every second. The Energiser is powerful enough to transmit a pulse across several hundred metres of RatMat flooring.

The RatMat Edge Strip is ingeniously designed to fit along the edges of the tile and on an inside or outside corner. These are essential on tiles which are driven over but optional on other tiles.

You will need one per tile edge which is not connected to another tile. In a perimeter you will need two per tile.

The RatMat Corner is the corner-piece of the edging strip. You will need one for each outer corner of your RatMat layout where you have edging fitted.
